By accessing or using Local Card Finder ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

Description of Service

Local Card Finder is a platform that helps Magic: The Gathering players find cards at local game stores. The Service provides:

Real-time inventory lookups across multiple local game stores
Price comparison and card availability information
Links to storefronts for completing purchases
Search and cart functionality for tracking cards of interest

The Service does not process payments or handle transactions. All purchases are made directly through local game store websites.

User Accounts and Authentication

Authentication Required

You must sign in using a supported authentication provider (Google or Apple) to use the Service. This requirement helps protect local game stores from abuse and ensures fair usage for all users.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Usage Limits and Restrictions

Daily Lookup Limits

Each user is limited to a certain number of lookups per day. This limit helps protect local game stores from being overwhelmed by excessive requests and ensures fair access for all users. This limit is subject to change at any time.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to circumvent usage limits or authentication requirements
Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the Service
Overwhelm or disrupt local game store websites through excessive requests
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations

Store Protection

Local Card Finder is designed to protect local game stores from abuse. We implement various protections to proactively prevent abuse, but if you are found to be abusing the service - we reserve the right to terminate your access immediately.

Any direct violation or circumvention of these protections or attempts to abuse the Service will result in immediate termination of your access without warning.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Local Card Finder and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

Card names, images, and related content are the property of their respective owners (e.g., Wizards of the Coast for Magic: The Gathering content). We use this content under fair use principles for search and informational purposes.

Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Inventory Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate inventory information, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of inventory data from local game stores. Inventory availability and prices are subject to change without notice.

The Service contains links to third-party websites (local game stores). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party websites. Your interactions with third-party websites are solely between you and the third party.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Local Card Finder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Local Card Finder, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination
